Digital downloads / The Gift Keeper
Who gets what, what it cost, where you hid it, and who still needs something, for Hanukkah, Christmas and any other holiday you give for.
The short version: The Gift Keeper is a private gift tracker that lives in your own Claude account. Snap a photo of a gift or just say what you bought, and Claude files it under the right person and holiday.
Sample family. All names and numbers are made up.
The full gift tracker, ready to publish as a private page in your Claude account. It's yours to keep and use every season.
Your copy opens on three quick questions: your family name, the holidays you give for, and who you give to, by household.
A kit page that walks you through making your copy, with the one prompt you paste into Claude and a fix for anything that goes sideways.
About 5 minutes. Start a new Claude chat, attach the file from your kit, paste one prompt, and Claude gives you your private link.
About 10 minutes. Your family name, your holidays, and a quick list of people by household.
A minute each. Type it in, snap a photo, or just say what you got and let Claude sort it.
The Overview shows who still needs a gift, holiday by holiday, so nobody gets missed.
Holiday gifts live in your head, three closets, a notes app and a dozen order emails. If any of these sound like your house, this is built for you.
You bought it in October. Now it's December, and nobody remembers if it was for Grandma or for the teacher.
The great sale find from spring turns up in the back of a closet in February.
Two holidays, two gifts, one niece. A single list can't tell you which one is still open.
A regift is a fine gift, until it goes back to the person who gave it to you.
Without a record, the same candle shows up two years running.
One of you carries the whole list. The other one can't help without asking twenty questions.
Meet the Riveras: Grandma Rosa, Dana's family with her nephew Leo, and Coach Mel from soccer. They give for Hanukkah and Christmas. They're made up, and so are their gifts and prices.
The Overview shows a countdown to each holiday and every person who's still open. Leo's Hanukkah gift is covered. Coach Mel still needs one for Christmas.
Your copy starts here. Type your family name, pick your holidays, and list your people one per line with their household. You can change any of it later in Settings.
Type or dictate a note like "Got Grandma Rosa a scarf for Christmas, paid 25, normally 40. Coach Mel just retired." Claude sorts it into a gift and a life update, and nothing saves until you check it.
You publish your own copy in your own Claude account. We send you the page and step out of the way.
Your people, gifts, photos and addresses are saved in your Claude account. Grit & Agency has no way in.
Only you can open it. If you share it with a partner, they see the shared list, and each of you gets a Just for me tab for the gifts you're keeping secret.
It only looks at your Gmail when you tap the button, and you decide gift or not gift on each order. Nothing saves until you say so.
Names, gifts and prices. No card numbers, no passwords, no store logins.
Every family gives differently. One household does Hanukkah, one does Christmas, the kids get both, and the coach gets a card. The Gift Keeper lets each person have their own holidays, and tracks each one separately.
Shop your own closet first. Things you already have, from free samples to sale finds, sit in My stash until you know who they're for.
Coach Mel just retired. What should we get her for Christmas?
Sample person. Ideas save to her list with one tap.
Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, New Year, Lunar New Year and Diwali are built in. Turn each one on or off, or add another holiday in Settings. Hanukkah can go night by night, so you know which kid opens what on which night.
Group people by who lives together, then give one gift to the whole household. Divorced parents, a new stepparent and the dog all fit.
Log what you paid and what it's worth, and each gift shows what you saved. Free and regifted items count too.
Every person who still needs a gift, holiday by holiday. For the Riveras: Coach Mel for Christmas.
The gift closet keeps each early buy with where you hid it, assigned or not.
What you paid next to what it's worth. Leo's Hanukkah gift: paid $20, worth $30, saved 33%.
Mark a regift with who gave it to you, and you get a heads-up before it goes back to them.
Your kit page link comes by email right after checkout. Nothing to install.
Our family gives across several households, and the holidays don't line up. One household does Hanukkah, one does Christmas, and some of the kids get both. Every year we lost track of who was covered, what was hiding in which closet, and who had given us the thing we were about to regift.
So we built a page that keeps it all in one place, and taught Claude to do the typing. The habit that stuck was the easiest one: snap a photo of the gift with a sticky note that says who it's for. The Gift Keeper is that page, cleaned up so any family can use it.

Yes. Claude is an AI assistant made by Anthropic. The Gift Keeper is a page that lives in your own Claude account, so you need an account on Claude Pro ($20 a month, or $17 a month billed yearly). You pay Anthropic for Claude and us for the kit.
Not for the page itself. It only runs in Claude. The inbox sweep does include a copy-and-paste prompt you can use with Outlook or another AI assistant to find recent orders.
An email with a link to your kit page. There you download the page file, copy one prompt, and follow the steps to publish your own private Gift Keeper in Claude. It opens on a short welcome screen, and you're ready to add gifts.
Yes. Share your page with them as a Contributor and you'll both see and update the same list. They see every shared gift, so put their own gift in your Just for me tab. Each person gets a private tab that nobody else can open, and nothing in it shows in the shared totals.
Your list is saved in your own Claude account, and only you can open it unless you share it. We never see your people, gifts or photos. Claude's own privacy terms from Anthropic apply to what's stored in your account.
Yes. Each person can have more than one holiday, and each holiday is tracked on its own. A niece can have a Hanukkah gift covered and a Christmas gift still open. For kids who get a gift every night of Hanukkah, turn on night by night: you see all eight nights in a grid, and they only show as covered when every night has a gift.
Often not. Amazon's emails usually don't name the item, so the sweep may skip them or not know what they are. It can do better with stores whose emails list what you bought. For Amazon gifts, snap a photo or use Talk it in.
Yes, and it gets more useful every year. One tap starts the next season, and your people, addresses and past gifts stay. The History tab shows what everyone got and what you spent each year, like $25 for Grandma three years ago and $75 now. If you add a gift you've given that person before, the guide tells you.
Your kit page lists the common hiccups and how to fix each one. If you're still stuck, email wes_ai@gritandagency.com and tell us what you see on your screen.
Our refund policy for digital products explains how refunds work. Read it before you buy, and email us with any questions.
